Ceci n’est plus un tableau est une oeuvre interdisciplinaire qui découle de la rencontre de la peinture et de la sculpture. Elle cherche à déposséder le tableau traditionnel de tous ses aspects picturaux, afin de le positionner en tant qu’objet sculptural. Cette pièce est le résultat d’une copie en résine polyuréthane, tiré d’un moule en silicone d’un tableau qui a servi comme modèle. Ce tirage permet d’observer davantage le volume et la texture d’un objet, à qui on lui a retiré tout pigment et image.[en]

Ceci n’est plus un tableau is an interdisciplinary work that stems from the encounter between painting and sculpture. The work tries to divest traditional painting of all its pictorial aspectsin order to position it as a sculptural object. The work is the result of a polyurethane resin copy made from a silicon mould of a painting that served as the model. It allows us to better observe the volume and texture of an object from which all pigment and image has been removed.
